Tips of Video Production: Stock Footage

Stock footage doesn’t have to feel “stocky.” Braincube develops AI technology to help companies take control of their data and transform their operations. They’ve been one of Enlight Media's top clients for almost 3 years. One challenge we face in producing marketing videos for Braincube is the relatively small amount of manufacturing stock footage out there. Manufacturers are understandably reluctant to risk divulging trade secrets by allowing film crews on their factory floors.

Due to the dearth of footage, we've had to find creative ways to help Braincube stand out from the competition. For the Smart IIOT video we used custom animated overlays over stock to depict the flow of data between systems. We also auditioned over twenty voice over artists to find someone capable of delivering an unexpected, yet on pitch performance. The result is a spot that feels bespoke and tells the story they want told.
